Michael Opoku Boakye

Michael Opoku Boakye is a dedicated Building Technologist/ Project Manager with more than 5 years of work experience in the construction industry, with professional skills such as team management, project communication, time management and resource management. However, he has varied experience in office complex designs, apartments and educational facilities with site skills such as stakeholder and vendor management, problem solving, personal organization and planning and scheduling.

Michael obtained his 4years BSc. Construction Technology and Management at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. During and after his degree, Michael served as a site supervisor with Antarctic Contracts Works Limited. He was involved in quite a number of projects which include the multi-purpose and multi-storey set facilities for University of Ghana Business School, the Vice Chancellor’s Office, Legon. He monitored and controlled outstanding finishes works. He also supervised and controlled mechanical, electrical & plumbing works.

Michael’s experience in the office complex design commenced when he was an Assistant Project Manager at Krane Construction Limited (7th Avenue office Complex at Ridge) – he planned and prepared three week rollover programme from the master programme and submit to key stakeholders. Co-ordinated the receipt of off shore and on shore materials on site from sub-contractors and suppliers and collaborated with the site QS.

Also in the apartment design and construction, Michael worked as an Assistant Project Manager for Ayi Mensah Park at Ayi Mensah (Phase 1 & 2). With his professional skills in project communication, problem solving and time management.
