About us

Icon Designs is a design and build firm that was founded in 2016 by George Kelvin Boakye. His vision in creating this firm is to not only dominate the Ghanaian building industry but to also take over internationally. 

The practice is fresh and dynamic and prides itself in treating every project as a unique experience from the early stages of the design through to the final as built living product without compromising on their principles or on the client's vision.

Although a small practice, at Icon Designs, research and development play a key role in the design process which allows the team to keep up-to-date  with ongoing and new technologies.

In the small city of Accra, Icon Designs has provided architectural services such as residential units, mix–use buildings, retail and commercial buildings, religious structures, fit-outs, refurbishments, interior designs and health care centres. They have also become adept at bringing new life to underutilised structures converting them to viable projects

They are looking to expand their expertise into hospitality facilities, recreational facilities, children’s day care and town planning in the near future.
